The Barbi Twins exploded into international celebrity models and household
names with their own highly-rated "E! True Hollywood Story", "48 HRS.",
“Entertainment Tonight”, “Inside Edition”, etc., as well as many other
television shows and cover stories. Blake Edwards, iconic director of the
blockbuster movie “!0”, even wrote an entire script exclusively for the
twins, called “20”, to be shot as a sequel to the first movie. A continuous
flood of cover stories from major publications, such as New York Post and
USA Today helped to propel the twins to mega-fame. NY papers called
them “pop icons”, for its Valentine’s Day tribute, the LA Times dubbed them
“American Sweethearts” and Entertainment Weekly calls them "Sexual Icons..."
with "two record-breaking Playboy covers" and NBC boasted during
their Super Bowl commercials that "they had the Barbi Twins". The twins were also
christened “The Sex Symbols of 1993” by Stuff Magazine.
